Hi, I really appreciate your sharing these. I am having a problem however, in installing a skin. Would you have any advice? I have installed and uninstalled several skins because I can’t get them to work. The method I use is:
Install oscommerce in my root directory. (mondogizmos.com) 1-I open my FTP program. 2- I navigate to the OSC catalog folder on my server. 3-I navigate to the SKIN catalog folder on my computer. 4- I select all the files, from Admin on down. 5-Send them to the server. 6- When I get the OVERWRITE? prompt, I select YES-ALL. When it is finished, I get one of two problems- Either an install/upgrade screen ( I even tried upgrading, but when finished, The home page is still- mondogizmos.com/install/index) or if that doesn’t happen, I get “cannot connect to database server” Help! Thanks. Alan

I have just a doubt, if I have oscommerce already install, which folders must I substitute to have a selected template? or must I install oscommerce right as it comes in each template zip file? I’m a bit confused about this.

I installed this template. it works ok bar the catagorey section. wheny ou choose any catagorey you get this mesage.

However, you can see the banner of two child and the content of
new products is skewed to left_column, not center, it not portional.
Thus on the header of Company ,Service ,News
,Advanced Search ,Create an Account , Customers login and footer
HOME | NEW PRODUCTS | MY ACCOUNT | SHOPPING CART | CHECKOUT | CONTACTS still in english even i clicked the hong kong chinese flag and china chinese flag, other of the new products content has been translated to chinese success. Please tell me which files of the abovesaid mentioned problem to adjust and please help how to resolve it

…please check back again here later, I will post here the site I uses to download files from RS and its really fast.Its a FREE Rapidshare Premium Account link site in where you can download your files from Rapidshare(best RS Downloader Online so far I`ve tried!!). You dont need to wait long to download your files, because its a Premium RS Account shared by the owner for those who needed.
I think there is a limit of 100MB or 300MB per user/IP for downloading( not so sure though…) I will update soon….

Not sure if you can help me but I would like to purchase one of your great templates but can’t get pass the oscommerce download. I use Yahoo Merchant Solutions and have tried everything to edit the problem but keep getting numerous error messages like below. I have been told Merchant Solutions may have a conflict so if can recommend another hoster thats fine.

All or most of these templates are ms 2.2 and will have to be modified for PHP5 and sql and none have a login for the admin section. You will have to use cpanel to protect your admin section. Free install help is avaliable sansabalongdrive.net
